A New Apostle’s Creed

I believe in one Power, one Presence.
I believe in Infinite Possibilities.
I believe that what is unknown in one moment can be known in another moment.
And that what is known is not all there is.
There is always more.

I was raised a Christian (Methodist, to be exact), each Sunday going to Sunday school and then church to learn the foundations of our religion and grow closer to God.

At the core of its teaching was a doctrine of belief passed down by all Christian churches of whatever stripe or color (Catholic included). It is called The Apostle’s Creed.

It’s time for a New Creed that can serve people of all traditions for the next 2000 years. You’ll find it written below.

But first, let’s honor the one that Christians have carried in their hearts throughout the centuries.

Though the words I remember were a little different, here’s one version of it:

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
the Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:
Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.

He descended into hell.
On the third day He arose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty,
whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting

Well, I’ve strayed a bit from that church over the years. Most Christians would probably consider me something of an outcast for my views now. Centuries ago I probably would have been tortured and killed for heresy. As you can probably gather from my writings, I’m somewhat of a metaphysical guy.

Nevertheless, my Christian roots run deep.

After all, I always considered Jesus (Jeshua, as I call him) a close personal friend. Like all friends, we’re there for each other when needed. In some small way, I like to think He needs me as much as I need him.

Maybe you’d call me an esoteric Christian. But then, I never cottoned much to labels.

Anyway, in the course of my expanding views of the universe and the nature of our being, I came to realize that our beliefs not only create our reality, but that those beliefs are fluid.

Change your beliefs and change your reality.

To make a long story short, I have come to recognize that I can select the beliefs that serve the reality I want to create.

But building a reality upon beliefs that are not absolute truths is like constructing a castle on shifting sands — one little shift can make the walls come tumbling down.

So what’s a soul to believe?

Here are a set of beliefs that have served me well, and I think would make a good foundation for the New World we’re trying to build:

I call it the New Apostle’s Creed. It goes like this:

I believe in one Power, one Presence.
I believe in Infinite Possibilities.
I believe that what is unknown in one moment can be known in another moment.
And that what is known is not all there is.
There is always more.

These beliefs were graciously provided me by St. Germaine and conveyed through a dear friend and channel who was then known as Katar Ra.

Take this New Apostle’s Creed for whatever it is worth to you. For me, there is no higher principle upon which to construct a new world.

Go with love. I am
