Welcome to our co-creation project. Let me tell you a little about it.
Background
Many are awakening to a world that isn't working the way they want, and hearing an inner call to do something about it. We want to help them answer it, and enhance their efforts of all as they do.
They are social entrepreneurs, spiritual entrepreneurs, teachers and leaders who are working hard to make a difference, notwithstanding the obstacles life -- not to mention the status quo -- puts before them.
This project is intended to help them move through those obstacles together and co-create a foundation on which that future can be built.
Individuals will participate in one or more groups (I call them communities) based on calling, interest, skills and abilities, as well as needs of the overall project.
Each community will focus on a specific topical area, forming its own governing council, deciding on its activities, and providing a record of those efforts from which others can learn and build upon.
Participating individuals will receive training in the various skills and understanding necessary to perform their chosen functions, including the nuances of co-creation.
And it will entail leaving breadcrumbs of their efforts at co-creation so others can learn from them and avoid some of the pitfalls that might crop up along the way.
The Communities will be loosely connected together through a Central Council and Hub.
The Central Council will be charged with responsibility for oversight and guidance of the respective communities, and facilitate communication between them and with the individual members.
The Hub will provide training and administrative support, and will be staffed by volunteers assigned for designated terms, after which they will rotate out and a new volunteer designated for assignment, by each individual committee.
Operating plans and efforts are subject to change as the communities and Hub are formed and begin operations. Initial volunteers will help define that process and shape the final outcome.
