Do you believe in reincarnation? I do.
Then again, I know I've had other lives -- many of them, in fact. And some aren't far below my conscious awareness, as if the veil that separates them from this one is paper-thin. Often experiences "bleed through" through with memories and emotions that clearly are not associated with this one. Somehow I'm usually able to shift my awareness to another place so I can understand how it all fits together.
One of those was in Scotland where a good friend wrote a series of mysteries featuring Sherlock Holmes. You may have heard of him. His name was Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. My favorite was The Hound of the Baskervilles. Maybe you've heard of it. Or even the howls of the hound across the moors on a dark, foggy night.
Anyway, the last of Sir Arthur's series was The Valley of Fear (he went on to write extensively about spiritualism after the death of his son, which involves communicating with those who have "crossed over").
The reason I mention it is that in case you haven't noticed, we are traveling through the Valley of Fear. Everywhere we turn things are happening to trigger our fears. Many are buried so deep inside that we often don't even know we have them. Yet still they're there, always lurking beneath the surface, helping to distort our efforts at creating what we want and often manifesting that which we don't.
Why is it happening?
Consider you're the captain of a ship that's sailing in rough seas. You're carrying a heavy cargo, and you're so weighted down that the waves are splashing over the sides. It's so bad that one big wave could overturn your craft and send you to the bottom of the sea.
And big waves are all around. It's all you can do to keep your ship afloat.
So what do you as the captain do to insure you can survive the storm and find your way to safe harbor ahead?
You start throwing all the heavy stuff overboard. If it's not essential, you get rid of it. Maybe it served a purpose before, but now in this storm, holding on to it only threatens to take you down.
That's the way it is with fear. At an energetic level, fear vibrates at a relatively low (or slow) frequency. It's great for creating experiences in this dense three-dimensional reality. But after so many lives bombarded by fear after fear, our souls have become heavy and distorted from all the scars those fears have wrought.
In a very real sense, a storm is blowing through our world, growing more intense by the day. And it's shaking up many lives in the process. These situations are allowing our souls to throw the fear overboard rather than hold onto it and delay its advancement for another life and time.
This is the time of ascension, offering us the possibility of moving beyond 3D existence to explore our capabilities in other dimensions through the bodies of light we've been patiently constructing throughout our lives here. And the embedded fears are holding us back, keeping us from being able to move smoothly into that new reality as it is being created.
So our lives (and the affairs of the world around us) are unfolding to allow us to experience those fears once again, and to decide whether we need more time within them. And if we don't, to process and let them go (as we demonstrate by how we respond within them). Only once we do will we sufficiently lighten up (energetically speaking) so that we can continue on our evolutionary (spiritual) journeys.
Anyway, we'll soon start a series of web discussions on this valley of fear and how its affecting us. Please keep an eye out. And if you don't get the newsletter, be sure to sign up so you get notice.
In the meantime, perhaps you can take a look at the fears that are coming out in your life. For now, that's all you need to do. Be aware of them, and do the best you can to carry on your affairs without allowing them to set your course for you.
God bless you indeed.
