We're still playing with ways to create a more extensive community page that reports on all the different activities going on in the alliance.

Don't forget that we welcome your participation through comments to articles and forum topics. So please, tell us what's on your mind.

Forum posts now default to appear on the front page where everyone can see. And we've enabled the "Recent Topics" block to the right so you can see what else has been posted lately as well.

While comments remain associated with the article to which they're directed, we have also enabled the "Recent Comments" block on the front page so you can see a list of those as well.

And so you know you're invited to join in and participate in the action, we're also showing recent users who have signed up as well.

We've considered opening the blogs and stories to posts by members-at-large, but we're not sure how to accomplish that without ruining your reading experience with junk posts, like the large number of Viagra and Cialis posts that show up in our comments (and get deleted from time-to-time) to disrupt reading by our visitors.

So, if you're a member of the community and want to write something other than a comment or post in our forums, please drop me a line.

We do accept submissions, you know. And if you write often, we'll even consider inviting you to be a regular guest blogger as well.

Maybe one day we'll even open it up so everyone can post blogs, stories, or whatever they want. But for now, we're trying to establish a community and keep discussions somewhat pertinent to helping those building a new world find peace along the way.

In the meantime, don't be shy. Put fingers to keyboard and add your two cents worth.

We really do want to hear it.
