Prosperity and Lack

Be careful what you think about lest you draw it into the tomorrow you want to create
Submitted by john dennison on Fri, 06/05/2009 - 15:46As you look about and see things with and within your life and world that do not suit you, focus upon them and their causes only until they stoke within you the desire for something more and recognition of the paths that do not serve you.
After that,
Never again consider, even for a moment, anything which is not aligned with the vision you desire for your life
lest you inadvertently draw it into the future you want to be created.

Some say it threatens the future of Twitter as a networking tool because it allows users to search the use of specific terms and send targeted messages to those who use them.
We'll see. Anyway, for you direct marketers, here's his article on directed marketing.

Social Networking and the New Economy
Submitted by john dennison on Sat, 10/18/2008 - 15:17I'm not sure about this whole social networking thing.
People connecting with people I understand. It's the way some are trying to use it to build their businesses that troubles me.
And frankly, that's the part that bothers me. Because the way they're using it isn't consistent with the principles and practices I've glimpsed for the New World.
Just this week I got a call from an acquaintance who started her own social network as part of a larger project. It's been open nearly a year now and I hadn't joined.

Giving to Get
Submitted by john dennison on Thu, 10/09/2008 - 12:06There are many difficulties to overcome if we are to build this new world. One of the biggest involves the concept of giving.
Giving in its highest form is unconditional, done without expectation of receiving anything in return. It is a wonderful practice.
We give because we have received God's love. And like all love, it means so much more when we share it with others.
Make no mistake. This is where I hope all will get to. However, that is not where we are today. And so now we must find a way to deal with what is until we can get to where we want to be.

Many are finding it's time to try something different. If you're ready, read on.
Put everything you think you know in question, for it is the product of illusions that you have created at every level of your existence.
Whatever you choose to believe is only as a matter of convenience and functionality within your current reality. If you believe differently, then your reality can begin to change as well.

The Economics of Changing the World
Submitted by john dennison on Mon, 09/22/2008 - 14:53Many people want to change the world. Few try.
Perhaps they haven't figured out the economics of making a difference and still meeting their needs to survive.
Let's look at the business models being used by those trying to do it.
- Start a New Religion.
Most who take a spiritual approach bump up against other spiritual-based institutions and beliefs. This doesn't mean their task is impossible, since there seems to be a large potential market to draw from. Many people are disconnected from what traditional religion promises and are ready for something new. However, it does mean those who try it will need to find the right niche in which they can compete for followers.

All You Need is Love?
Submitted by john dennison on Wed, 09/17/2008 - 08:11I listened to Tina Bueno's radio show last night. She was channeling the Galactic Counsel with whom I've had some conversations about community and other things.
They were talking about the many lightworkers who are struggling with money issues these days.
Their advice? To love ourselves unconditionally.
While I fully agree with their statement, I wonder whether most of us can take such a simple answer and put it to work.

Taking the Struggle Out of Money
Submitted by john dennison on Tue, 09/16/2008 - 17:02This is the 6th part in our series on transforming your relationship with money.
Once our inner conflict between money and peace has been removed from within us, it is also removed from the money we draw to us in our lives. However, there remains an even more insidious form of conflict still to be addressed.
That is the conflict over how we see ourselves and conduct our lives.

Separating Money from Conflict
Submitted by john dennison on Tue, 09/16/2008 - 07:27This is the 5th in a series of articles on changing our relationship with money.
Let's face it. We humans sure fight a lot.
We fight to be right. We fight over love. We fight in spite of it. We fight for territory. We fight for power. We even fight when we play.
Everywhere we turn there's fighting.
Some don't think of it as fighting at all. They call it competition. And to many, competition is a good thing. To the victor go the spoils.

What to Do When Activity Doesn't Bring the Money You Need
Submitted by john dennison on Mon, 09/15/2008 - 11:17This is the 4th in a series of articles on changing our relationship with money.
When we select a channel of activity that doesn't return the financial rewards we want or need, we' don't have to keep on going the same old way.
We can make another choice. And to review quickly, how do we choose?
By listening to our inner voice when examining the possibilities that arise for us to consider.
